EFB is obtained after the processing of FFB for the production of CPO. We are getting about 8000 Mts of EFB per year after the production CPO & Kernel oil in our palm oil mill at Yeroor Estate.
EFB can be used as fuel for boilers, brick production units, pottery units etc. Kilns can also make use of these EFB.
EBD is also used in Vermicompost units after chopping and grinding the material in to small particles.

CPO യുടെ ഉൽപ്പാദനത്തിനായി പ്രോസസ്സിംഗ് ചെയുമ്പോൾ ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ഉപ ഉൽപ്പന്നമാണ് EFB. ഏരൂർ എസ്റ്റേറ്റിൽ നിന്നും CPO, കെർണൽ ഓയിൽ ഇവയുടെ നിർമ്മാണ ശേഷം ഇവിടെ 8000 മെട്രിക് ടണ്ണുകളോളം EFB ലഭ്യമാകുന്നു. ബോയ്‌ലറിലുകളിലും മറ്റും ഇന്ധനമായി ഇവയെ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. ഇഷ്ടിക നിർമ്മാണം, മൺപാത്ര നിർമ്മാണം ഇവയിലൊക്കെ ഇന്ധനമായി EFB ഉപയോഗിച്ച് വരുന്നു. ഇവയെ വെർമി കമ്പോസ്റ്റു ആയും ഉപയോഗിക്കാവുന്നതാണ് .
