Our Yeroor Estate is situated in Kollam district of Kerala State. Kollam, the erstwhile Desinganadu is an old sea port town on the Arabian coast. Punalur Suspension Bridge
The Punalur Suspension Bridge, located in Punalur is the oldest motor able Bridge in Kerala, which was built by the British and is now a historical attraction. The bridge has a length of 400 feet. The suspension bridge was built to prevent wild animals from crossing into the town from the forest area of old Kattupathanapuram. Punalur is the traditional pilgrim transit point of Sabarimala pilgrimage. Thousands of pilgrims visit this place and take bath in the Kallada River. Punalur Suspension bridge was built in 1877 by Albert Henry across the Kallada River.

Palaruvi Waterfalls
Palaruvi tourist hotspot is 35 km from Yeroor. It is the 40 th highest waterfall in India. It is a single drop horse tail type waterfall with a total height of 91 meters (299 feet). Thousands of tourist throng every day this beautiful sight.
Shendurney Wildlife Sanctuary
Shendurney Wildlife Sanctuary, a part of Agasthya mala biosphere Reserve, is one of the richest areas of bio- diversity in Western Ghats. The etymological meaning of the name Shendurney has been derived from a tree locally called Chenkurinji which is an endemic tree confirmed to this tract.
Kulathupuzha
Kulathupuzha is 7 km from Yeroor. Kulathupuzha is very famous pilgrim centre in Kerala. The presiding deity is known as Bala Sastha.This Shasta shrine is located on the banks of Kulathu Puzha,a tributary of Kallada River and is in the reserve forest.There are two mail deities in this small temple-Lord Shiva and Shasta.Feeding to the fishes in the nearby river is as important “vazhipadu”in the temple.

Botanical Garden at Palode
Palode Botanical Garden is 25 km from Yeroor. It is the research centre of Agriculture University. About 800 species of plant kingdom have been protected and nurtured here.

Fed by the Chinese trade, it was mentioned by Ibn Battuta in the 14th century as one of the five Indian ports he had been during the course of his twenty four year travals.Kollam Beach is also known as Mahatma Gandhi Beach, is a beach in Kollam city in the Indian State of Kerala. Kollam Beach is the first ‘Beach Wedding Destination’ in Kerala. The beach also features a park of international standard, the Mahatma Gandhi Park, which was inaugurated on 1 January 1961 by the then Vice President of India, Zakir Hussain. Kollam beach is one among the few beaches in Kerala with a lifeguard outpost. Lifeguards were stationed at the beach from 2005. As of July 2015 Kovalam, Kollam is one among the three beaches in south Kerala with lifeguard outposts.
