Shri. Nowshad P M Takes Charge as Managing Director of Oil Palm India Limited
Shri. Nowshad P M Takes Charge as Managing Director of Oil Palm India Limited Kottayam: Mr. Nowshad P M has assumed charge as Managing Director of Oil Palm India Limited (OPIL). He brings with him over 30 years of experience in public administration, agricultural development, tourism, and e-Governance .
Prior to this assignment, he served as Managing Director, Muziris Heritage Projects Limited, Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala, where he was responsible for planning, implementation, and management of large-scale heritage conservation and development projects.
He has also served as Director (Projects), Vegetable and Fruit Promotion Council Keralam (VFPCK), and as Project Director, ATMA, in the capacity of Joint Director of Agriculture, overseeing agricultural extension and farmeroriented programmes. Earlier, he worked as Manager e-Governance under the Akshaya State Project of the Kerala State IT Mission, contributing to the expansion of digital citizen services across the State and Regional Manager, KSBCDC Ltd.
An Agriculture graduate with an MBA and multiple postgraduate qualifications, certified Independent Director and national level Train the Trainer in e Governance.
On assuming office, Mr. Nowshad stated that his priorities at OPIL will include strengthening farmer support systems, improving operational efficiency, ensuring the welfare and well-being of employees, and promoting sustainable oil palm cultivation in alignment with government goals & priorities.

കോട്ടയം: ശ്രീ. നൗഷാദ് പി. എം ഓയിൽ പാം ഇന്ത്യ ലിമിറ്റഡ് (OPIL)ന്റെ മാനേജിംഗ് ഡയറക്ടറായി ചുമതലയേറ്റു. പൊതുഭരണം, കൃഷിവികസനം, ടൂറിസം, ഇ-ഗവേണൻസ് മേഖലകളിലായി 30 വർഷത്തിലധികം പ്രവൃത്തിപരിചയം അദ്ദേഹത്തിനുണ്ട്.
ഈ നിയമനത്തിന് മുമ്പ്, കേരള സർക്കാർ ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പിന്റെ കീഴിലുള്ള മുസരീസ് ഹെറിറ്റേജ് പ്രോജക്റ്റ്സ് ലിമിറ്റഡിന്റെ മാനേജിംഗ് ഡയറക്ടറായി അദ്ദേഹം സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചിരുന്നു. വൻതോതിലുള്ള പൈതൃക സംരക്ഷണ-വികസന പദ്ധതികളുടെ ആസൂത്രണം, നടപ്പാക്കൽ, മേൽനോട്ടം എന്നിവയ്ക്ക് അദ്ദേഹം നേതൃത്വം നൽകി.
വെജിറ്റബിൾ ആൻഡ് ഫ്രൂട്ട് പ്രൊമോഷൻ കൗൺസിൽ കേരളം (VFPCK)യിൽ ഡയറക്ടർ (പ്രോജക്റ്റ്സ്) ആയും, ജോയിന്റ് ഡയറക്ടർ ഓഫ് അഗ്രികൾച്ചർ പദവിയിൽ ATMAയുടെ പ്രോജക്റ്റ് ഡയറക്ടറായും അദ്ദേഹം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. കർഷക കേന്ദ്രീകൃത കാർഷിക വിപുലീകരണ പരിപാടികളുടെ നടപ്പാക്കലിൽ നിർണായക പങ്ക് വഹിച്ചു.
ഇതുകൂടാതെ, കേരള സ്റ്റേറ്റ് ഐടി മിഷന്റെ അക്ഷയ സംസ്ഥാന പദ്ധതിയിൽ ഇ-ഗവേണൻസ് മാനേജറായി സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിക്കുകയും സംസ്ഥാനതലത്തിൽ ഡിജിറ്റൽ പൗരസേവനങ്ങളുടെ വ്യാപനത്തിൽ സംഭാവന നൽകുകയും ചെയ്തു. കെ.എസ്.ബി.സി.ഡി.സി ലിമിറ്റഡിൽ റീജിയണൽ മാനേജറായും അദ്ദേഹം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
കൃഷിയിൽ ബിരുദവും എം.ബി.എയും ഉൾപ്പെടെ നിരവധി പി.ജി യോഗ്യതകളുള്ള അദ്ദേഹം, അംഗീകൃത ഇൻഡിപെൻഡന്റ് ഡയറക്ടറും ദേശീയതല ‘ട്രെയിൻ ദി ട്രെയിനർ’ (ഇ-ഗവേണൻസ്) സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് നേടിയ വ്യക്തിയുമാണ്.
ചുമതലയേറ്റ ശേഷം സംസാരിച്ച ശ്രീ. നൗഷാദ് പി. എം, കർഷക പിന്തുണാ സംവിധാനങ്ങൾ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുക, സ്ഥാപനത്തിന്റെ പ്രവർത്തന കാര്യക്ഷമത മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തുക, ജീവനക്കാരുടെ ക്ഷേമവും സുരക്ഷയും ഉറപ്പാക്കുക, സർക്കാരിന്റെ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളോടും മുൻഗണനകളോടും ഒത്തൊരുമിച്ച് സുസ്ഥിര ഓയിൽ പാം കൃഷി പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുക എന്നിവയാണ് OPILയിൽ തന്റെ പ്രധാന ശ്രദ്ധാകേന്ദ്രങ്ങളെന്ന് അറിയിച്ചു.
