ORDER

 

As per the G.O. read above the scales of pay of officers and staff of Oil Palm India Limited were revised with retrospective effect from 01.07.1998 and with monetary benefit from 01.11.1998.

 

The Managing Director, Oil Palm India Limited vide his letter read above has forwarded a proposal to Government for the revision of the scales of pay of officers and staff in line with G.O (P) No. 145/06/Fin. dated 25.03.2006 as resolved by the Board of Directors of Oil India Limited vide resolution No. 2190 in its meeting held on 14.11.2006.

 

Government have examined the matter in detail and are pleased to accord sanction for the revision of scales of pay of the employees of Oil Palm India Limited in Line with the pay revision ordered as per G.O (P) 145/06/Fin. dated, 25.03.2006 for State Government employees, with notional effect from 01.07.2004 and with monetary benefits from 01.04.2005 as shown below subject to the conditions stated there under.

       i.            All the extra benefits which are not allowable to the State Government employees should be stopped while implementing the pay revision.

 

     ii.            The scales of pay of employees of The Company should be revised in accordance with the pay scales mentioned in Annexure I of the PR order dated, 25.03.2006.

 

  iii.            All the rules relating to fixation of pay, calculation of Gratuity, TBHG, TA, Surrender of earned leave, Ratio promotion, payment of exgratia and other allowances mentioned in the Pay Revision order dated 25.03.2006 should be adhered to scrupulously.

 

   iv.            The HRA t0 the employees shall be paid as per para 14(l) of FR order dated. 25.03.2006. Note under para 14(2) should be followed scrupulously in this regard.

 

      v.            No upgradation / creation of new post should be made without prior approval of Government.

 

   vi.            In future, no appointment shall be mode by the company to posts (whether permanent deputation, full time, part time, temporary, provisional, contract, casual or daily wage) unless it is o post duly created with formal Government approval.

 

 vii.            Date of effect of revised scales will be from 01.07.2004. Arrears of Salary on fixation of pay in the revised scales for the period from 01.07.2004 to 31.03.2005 will be notional.

 

viii.            Incase of any doubt regarding pay scales, fixation etc. prior concurrence of the Government shall be ob tallied before arriving at a decision.

 

   ix.            In future any proposal for extending additional benefits to the employees or changing the terms arid conditions of their service (including salary and allowance promotion, leave etc.] shall be forwarded to Government with the approval of Board of Directors and prior concurrence of Government of Kerala shall be obtained before formal orders are issued by the company.

 

     x.            The additional expenditure on account of the pay revision should be met from the company’s own resources.

ORDER

 

As per the G.O read as 1st above, Government revised the scales of pay of the officers and staff of Oil Palm India Ltd. in line with the Pay Revision orders of Government employees issued in G.C(P)No. 145/06/Fin dated 25.03.2006. Government had made partial modification to the pay revision orders of Government Employees enhancing certain scales of pay vide GO(P)No262/07 (59)/Fin dated 19.06.2007. This modification was not taken in to account while sanctioning revision of scales of pay to the employees of Oil Palm India Limited.

 

The Managing Director, Oil Palm India Limited, as per his letter read as 2nd paper above has requested to G.O(P) No.262/2007(59)/Fin. dated, 19.06.2007.

 

Government have examined the matter in detail and are pleased to accord sanction to substitute the reused scales of pay of Rs. 4400-6680-Rs. 4510 – 7480 and Rs. 5510 – 8590 sanctioned to the employees of DI Palm India Limited vide G.O (MS) No.147/07/AD, dated, 16.08.2007 with the subsequently modified scales of  pay of Rs.463O — 7000, Rs. 4750 – 7820 and Rs. 5650 – 8790 respectively with effect from 01.07.2004 in accordance with GO.(P)No.262/07(59)/ Fin, dated, 19.06.2007.
